Harrison started to preschool this week. I can't believe he is already old enough for preschool! He goes 5 days a week and his 1st week was great. He loves his teacher Mrs. Courtney. He has come home talking about things they did and singing new songs they learned. About half way through the week he asked how many days he was going to be going to preschool and my mom told him 5 and he said that was too many, but on Saturday and Sunday he woke up wanting to go to preschool. I think he will have a great year!
Harrison's 1st day of Preschool
All loaded up for school. Marin is going to Kindermusik on Mondays while Harrison is at school and I think she is going to really like it!
I can't believe our little girl is already 18 months old. Just a few things that she has been doing:
some of the words she can say: Mama, Dada, Bow, Juice, Shoes, Keys, Teeth, Eye, Car, Puppy
Even though she is not talking a whole lot, she understands just about anything you tell her to do.
She loves animals and knows several animal sounds: woof woof, meow, moo, and will say some sound for any animal you ask her.
She is a very good sleeper. She usually goes down with no problem and takes about a 3 hour nap, and sleeps about 10 hours at night. We have to go get her up alot.
She love, love, loves, her blankie, just like her big brother. Couldn't make it with out it.
We just got rid of the pacifier a couple of week ago and she did great! Not one problem! I let her have it longer than I did Harrison.
She throws a really good fit when she does not get her way, complete with screaming, crying, writhing around on the floor and throwing anything within reach for a dramatic effect!
She loves her big brother and tries to do anything he does, no matter how dangerous!
She is fearless when it comes to climbing, jumping off things, and anything of that nature; but she is scared to death of anyone in costume, such as: Chuck E. Cheese, and the Chick-fil-A Cow-she gets hysterical!!
She loves to eat and always has. She has gotten a little more picky about her food and she is not crazy about milk.
Here are a few pictures from our last visit to the Y. The kids absolutely love the water! They both love going down the slide and have no fear! Marin has to do everything her big brother does, so when he goes down head first, so does she. She was hillarious! I have it on video and am going to try to figure out how to get it on here.
